AUTO THEFT

• Centralia police were called just after 7 o’clock this morning to take a report that a Honda Civic had been stolen during the night from the 300 block of South Buckner Street. License plate is AUX 5262, according to the Centralia Police Department.

• Two people were arrested after a trooper pulled over a stolen vehicle, which the driver said she had purchased from someone named Donny. When the vehicle was searched, a loaded syringe with suspected methamphetamine was found as well as a key which did not operate any of the door locks, according to court documents. Destiny T. Runyan, 28, of rural Chehalis, and Kevin C. Huey, 27, from Centralia, were booked into the Lewis County Jail. Charging documents in the case do not reveal the type of vehicle recovered, nor do they indicate where in Lewis County the traffic stop took place; only that it occurred on today’s date. Runyan was charged today in Lewis County Superior Court with possession of a stolen vehicle and possession of a controlled substance. Huey was charged with only possession of a controlled substance.

• An abandoned stolen vehicle was located in a parking lot at Rock Street and Centralia College Boulevard about 12:50 a.m. today, according to the Centralia Police Department.

• A bronze colored 1992 Honda Accord EX stolen on Wednesday from the 1000 block of Big Hanaford Road outside Centralia was found abandoned in a parking lot just before midnight at Locust Street and Washington Avenue in Centralia. It was returned to its owner, but the the Lewis County Sheriff’s Office continues to investigate.

• A deputy was called about 7:30 p.m. yesterday to take a report of the theft of a 1994 Honda Accord from the 3000 block of Ives Road in Centralia. It was last seen by its owner on Wednesday, according to the Lewis County Sheriff’s Office.

• A silver 1997 Honda Accord was reported stolen just after 4 p.m. yesterday from Pear Street and Washington Avenue in Centralia. Its license plate reads ADV 0932, according to the Centralia Police Department.

• A red 1992 Honda Accord was reported stolen from King Street and Centralia College Boulevard at about 1:45 p.m. yesterday. It has a license plate reading AVJ 7872, according to the Centralia Police Department.

BURGLARY

• A 33-year-old man was arrested yesterday afternoon after a woman on the 100 block of Annonen Road outside of Winlock called 911 to say she’d found him in her guesthouse, which is for sale. She also found two bottles of wine in the guest house that came from her barn, according to court documents. Justin S. Cargill was arrested for second-degree burglary and booked into the Lewis County Jail, according to the Lewis County Sheriff’s Office. Sheriff’s Chief Deputy Dusty Breen said some change and a pocket knife were believed to have been taken and the suspect was believed to have also gone into the woman’s home. Cargill has an address in California, but told authorities this afternoon in Lewis County Superior Court he has been staying at a homeless shelter in Hazel Dell.

THEFT

• Chehalis police were called just before 11 a.m. yesterday about the theft of equipment from the 1500 block of North National Avenue.

• Centralia police were called at 8:20 a.m. yesterday to take a report of the theft of money from a residence at the 700 block of G Street.

CAR PROWL

• Police were called about 10:45 a.m. yesterday to take a report of the theft of a wallet from an unlocked vehicle parked at the 400 block of West Sixth Street in Centralia.

DRUGS

• A 17-year-old boy arrested for an outstanding warrant about 4:25 p.m. yesterday in Safeway at the 1100 block of Harrison Avenue was also allegedly found in possession of methamphetamine, according to the Centralia Police Department. He was wanted by the Chehalis Police Department in connection with an incident near Penny Playground on Wednesday, according to the Centralia Police Department.

• Centralia police are referring a case for charges of minor in possession of marijuana in connection with the arrest of a 17-year-old boy for an outstanding warrant about 2:50 p.m. yesterday at the 1200 block of Lum Road.

MUGGED BY TEENS

• Centralia police were called about 6:35 p.m. yesterday when an individual reported he was approached by several teenagers and asked for money at the 200 block of East Chestnut Street, but when he pulled out his wallet to give a small amount a suspect grabbed the cash and ran, according to the Centralia Police Department.

BURNED BY TEENS

• Police responded to Centralia High School about 2:40 p.m. yesterday to investigate an incident in which two boys in a shop class allegedly placed heated pieces of metal on two of their fellow students, which caused minor injuries. The case is being forwarded to prosecutors for evaluation for possible felony assault charges, according to the Centralia Police Department.

BUSINESS BURGLARY

• Centralia police were called just after 1 p.m. yesterday to the 100 block of South Tower Avenue for a burglary of numerous tools from a job site.

• Chehalis police were called about 12:30 p.m. yesterday to the 1900 block of Northeast Kresky Avenue where it appeared someone had broken into a recreational vehicle.

FRAUD

• A 21-year-old Centralia resident was arrested for forgery and second-degree theft after being contacted by police during a “suspicious circumstances contact” about 5:40 a.m. today associated with the 1800 block of Shamock Drive in Centralia. Police detectives had already been conducting an investigation in which Dakota S. Duel, 21 of Centralia, was a suspect, according to the Centralia Police Department. Duel was was booked into the Lewis County Jail.

AUTO THEFT

• A gold 1996 Honda Accord was reported as stolen during the night from the 900 block of South Pearl Street in Centralia, according to a report made to police just before 7 o’clock this morning. Its license plate is APH 8559, according to the Centralia Police Department.

• Centralia police were called just before 7 a.m. today to take a report that a a gray 1993 Dodge Dakota pickup, was stolen during the night from the 1100 block of Scammon Creek Road. Its license plate reads C59008C, according to the Centralia Police Department.

• A deputy was called just after 10 p.m. yesterday to the 1000 block of Big Hanaford Road outside Centralia where a bronze colored 1992 Honda Accord EX had been stolen sometime between 5:30 a.m. and 5:30 p.m. The car had been left unlocked with the keys inside, according to the Lewis County Sheriff’s Office. The license plate is 444 ZMO, according to the sheriff’s office.

• A red 1990 Honda Civic was stolen from the 1700 block of Northeast Kresky Avenue in Centralia, according to a report made to police about 9:40 p.m. yesterday. License plate is BDN 4963, according to the Centralia Police Department.

• Centralia police were called just after 11 a.m. yesterday regarding a brown and beige 1988 Ford pickup stolen from the parking lot of a business at the 300 block of East Van Buren Street. It has a license plate reading B42052R, according to the Centralia Police Department.

TIRES, WHEELS REMOVED

• Centralia police were called by three victims yesterday morning who reported sets of wheels and tires had been stolen off their parked vehicles, at the 100 block of South Railroad Avenue, the 600 block of K Street and the 300 block of North Iron Street. Police have no suspect information this morning but officers are investigating, according to the Centralia Police Department.

• Centralia police were called about 2:50 p.m. yesterday to take a report that several items were stolen from an unlocked vehicle while it was parked at the 1000 block of E Street.

• Centralia police were called to the 1100 block of F Street about 11:30 a.m. yesterday for an overnight vehicle prowl.

• Chehalis police were called for a vehicle prowl about 11:30 a.m. yesterday at the 300 block of Northwest Louisiana Avenue.

• A 43-year-old driver was airlifted to Harborview Medical Center in Seattle after a rollover wreck yesterday afternoon on the 900 block of Bunker Creek Road. Deputies called to the scene about 2:30 p.m. report she was driving a 2000 Ford Expedition, had no passengers and suffered a head injury, according to the Lewis County Sheriff’s Office. Chief Deputy Dusty Breen said the woman is from Selah.

BURGLARY SILVER CREEK

• A deputy was called yesterday to the 100 block of Filbert Road in Silver Creek where sometime after 11 p.m. Monday and before 8 a.m. yesterday someone broke into a storage container and stole power tools including a Stihl chainsaw, clothing and other items. A lock was cut, according to the Lewis County Sheriff’s Office.

AUTO THEFT

• A white Honda Civic was reported as stolen sometime overnight from the 200 block of Railroad Avenue in Centralia, according to a report made to police just after 6:30 a.m. today.

• A deputy looking for a stolen 1998 Honda Civic in Vader yesterday evening came across the car with a 15-year-old boy behind the wheel in the area of the 500 block of Sixth Street, according to the Lewis County Sheriff’s Office. The Vader teen had an outstanding warrant and was arrested for possession of a stolen vehicle, Chief Deputy Dusty Breen said. The deputy learned a 28-year-old Kelso resident was involved and subsequently located Marcial Gonzalez and booked him into the Lewis County Jail for the same offense. Breen said the car had new damage to its rear.

• A black 1996 Honda Civic was reported stolen from the 600 block of Centralia College Boulevard just before 3 p.m. yesterday. The four-door car has a license plate of BEW 3460, according to the Centralia Police Department.

CAR PROWL

• Centralia police were called about 8:40 p.m. yesterday to take a report that chainsaws and a leaf blower had been stolen from the bed of a truck while it was parked at the 1200 block of West Plum Street.

• Police were called to the 100 block of East High Street in Centralia about 7:35 p.m. yesterday where someone had stolen a stereo from a locked vehicle.

• A purse was reported stolen from a locked vehicle at the 600 block of Centralia College Boulevard at about 1:10 p.m. yesterday.

ASSAULT

• Centralia police were called just before 11 p.m. yesterday to the 1700 block of South Gold Street where a man reported he’d been assaulted by three unknown males after meeting up with his child’s mother during a visitation. The victim however decided not to make an official statement to police, according to the Centralia Police Department.

• Centralia police were called to the 800 block of Eshom Road about 8:10 a.m. yesterday for an alleged fourth-degree assault. The case, with a 15-year-old girl as the suspect, was referred to prosecutors for charging, according to the Centralia Police Department.

• Centralia police were called just after noon yesterday to take a report from an individual who discovered the information they had been provided by another on Friday after a vehicle collision turned out to be false information. A suspect has been identified and officers are still investigating, according to the Centralia Police Department. The case is associated with a location on the 700 block of Harrison Avenue in Centralia, according to police.

• Centralia police are investigating a hit and run case in which a 71-year-old pedestrian was struck by a vehicle and knocked to the ground just before 6:40 p.m. yesterday at West Main Street and Tower Avenue. The woman, from Oregon, suffered minor head injuries and was transported to Providence Centralia Hospital, according to the Centralia Police Department.

DOMESTIC DISPUTE

• An individual went to the Morton Police Department about noon yesterday to report she and her boyfriend had gotten into an argument near the cemetery on Seventh Street and said he grabbed her by the throat, according to police. She told him to leave and go cool off but to bring the car back, yet after she went to the hospital and waited for an hour for him to return, he did not, according to police. Neither he nor the car had been located as of yesterday afternoon, according to police.

BREAK-IN CENTRALIA

• A business at the 1700 block of Industrial Drive in Centralia reported about 11:50 a.m. yesterday it had been burglarized, according to the Centralia Police Department. Missing were a Johnson 15 hp outboard motor and assorted hand tools

• Centralia police were called about 10:15 a.m. yesterday for a burglary at a home on the 1000 block of North Washington Avenue. Taken sometime during the previous three days were a Ridgid brand air compressor, two nail guns and 50 foot air hose, according to the Centralia Police Department.

VEHICLE THEFT

• Centralia police were called about 2:10 p.m. yesterday to the 1800 block of Harrison Avenue to take a report that a black tandem-axle dump trailer had been stolen  sometime since Saturday. It has a license plate reading  3425XL,  according to the Centralia Police Department.

•  A 1998 Honda Civic that was reported stolen from Chehalis Tribal Police was located at the 1100 block of South Silver Street in Centralia at about 12:45 p.m. yesterday. It was returned to its owner, according to the Centralia Police Department.

• A car reported stolen about 2:35 a.m. last Thursday from the 100 block of Second Street in Morton was located the following day outside the city limits by the Washington State Fish and Wildlife Department, according to the Morton Police Department.

FRAUD

• Centralia police were called about 9:45 a.m. yesterday to take a report that a PayPal account was hacked and the culprit set up a new account using the victim’s information, in a case associated with the 2200 block of Eureka Avenue.

MORE THEFT

• A vinyl sign for a local business at the 1200 block of Mellen Street in Centralia was stolen overnight, according to a report made to police about 12:20 p.m. yesterday.

CAR PROWL

• A deputy was called about 7:10 p.m. yesterday to the 1100 block of Fieldcrest Avenue in Centralia for a vehicle prowl in which a Lenova laptop computer belonging to a business had been stolen sometime during the previous week while the owner was away. There was no forced entry to the vehicle, according to the Lewis County Sheriff’s Office. The loss is listed as $1,000, according to the sheriff’s office.

•  A car stereo, cell phone charger and cash were stolen out of an unlocked vehicle parked at the 1000 block of South Pearl Street in Centralia, according to a report made to police about 7:45 a.m. yesterday.

• Someone damaged two mailboxes in front of a business at the 1400 block of Kresky Avenue in Centralia, according to a report made to police just before 9 a.m. yesterday.
