THEFT, THEFT, THEFT

• Centralia police were contacted about 10:45 a.m. on Sunday to take a report of an identity theft associated with the 900 block of South Scheuber Road. The case is under investigation, according to the Centralia Police Department.

• Centralia police were called about 12:30 a.m. on Saturday about a vehicle prowl associated with the 100 block of East Maple Street. The victim reported that a Jumping Jack plate compactor was stolen from the bed of his pickup, according to the Centralia Police Department.

• Centralia police were called to the 800 block of West Main Street at about 4:35 p.m. on Friday where they were told a chainsaw had been stolen.

• An individual reported just after 11 a.m. on Friday that someone had rummaged through his vehicle during the night at the 1100 block of South Pearl Street in Centralia. Nothing was taken, according to the Centralia Police Department.

• Chehalis police were contacted about the theft of three computers from the 1600 block of Northwest Louisiana Avenue on Friday.

• Centralia police were contacted about 8:25 a.m. on Friday to take a report from the 1200 block of H Street that the back window of a vehicle had been broken. Nothing was taken from the vehicle, according to the Centralia Police Department.

• Chehalis police were called for a vehicle prowl at the 400 block of Northeast Adams Avenue at about 8 a.m. on Friday.

• Chehalis police were called at about 4:35 a.m. on Friday to take a report of a vehicle prowl at the 500 block of Northeast Adams Avenue.

• A white 2004 Chevrolet Tahoe was reported stolen from an auto dealership on the 500 block of North Tower Avenue in Centralia at about 3:35 p.m. on Thursday.

DRUGS

• A 29-year-old person with no address was arrested just after 8 p.m. on Thursday at the 200 block of South Pearl Street for an outstanding warrant and also possession of methamphetamine and heroin and identity theft. Kiya A. L. Kenney was booked into the Lewis County Jail, according to the Centralia Police Department.

• An individual was allegedly found to be in possession of marijuana products at the 800 block of Eshom Road in Centralia on Thursday afternoon. The case was referred to the Lewis County Prosecutor’s Office for charging, according to the Centralia Police Department.

TEEN SWIMS AWAY FROM POLICE

• Officers at the 2000 block of Borst Avenue in Centralia just before 5 p,.m. on Friday arrested an 18-year-old Chehalis resident for an outstanding warrant and a 19-year-old Centralia resident allegedly disobeyed orders and ran from the officer. Ethan C. Mallory, 19, was apprehended after he swam across the Chehalis River and was booked into the Lewis County Jail for obstructing a law enforcement officer, according to the Centralia Police Department.

ABUSE

• A 37-year-old Centralia man was arrested for alleged child abuse at the 400 block of West Summa Street in Centralia following a 10:30 a.m. call on Thursday to police. Russell E. Vaughn was booked into the Lewis County Jail, according to the Centralia Police Department.

BUSINESS BURGLARY

• Centralia police were called about 6:30 a.m. today to investigate a burglary at a store on the 100 block of East Maple Street.

• Police were called just after 2 o’clock this morning to the 400 block of South Tower Avenue in Centralia for a burglary to a store.

• Centralia police were called about 8:45 a.m. on Thursday to a business on the 400 block of South Tower Avenue in Centralia to take a report that someone had attempted to break-in during the night.

• Officers called to the 100 block of High Street in Centralia about 11:25 a.m. on Thursday because an individual allegedly went behind the counter of a business and stole items, arrested Robert D. Baldwin Jr., 34, of Mount Vernon, for second-degree burglary. Baldwin allegedly lied to police about his identity and was booked into the Lewis County Jail also for identity theft, according to the Centralia Police Department.

DRUGS

• A 29-year-old Everett resident arrested for shoplifting after an approximately 8 p.m. call on Thursday to the 1300 block of Lum Road in Centralia was allegedly found to be in possession of methamphetamine. Garrett J. Dempsey was booked into the Lewis County Jail, according to the Centralia Police Department.
