BUSINESS BURGLARY

• Centralia police were called about 6:30 a.m. today to investigate a burglary at a store on the 100 block of East Maple Street.

• Police were called just after 2 o’clock this morning to the 400 block of South Tower Avenue in Centralia for a burglary to a store.

• Centralia police were called about 8:45 a.m. on Thursday to a business on the 400 block of South Tower Avenue in Centralia to take a report that someone had attempted to break-in during the night.

• Officers called to the 100 block of High Street in Centralia about 11:25 a.m. on Thursday because an individual allegedly went behind the counter of a business and stole items, arrested Robert D. Baldwin Jr., 34, of Mount Vernon, for second-degree burglary. Baldwin allegedly lied to police about his identity and was booked into the Lewis County Jail also for identity theft, according to the Centralia Police Department.

DRUGS

• A 29-year-old Everett resident arrested for shoplifting after an approximately 8 p.m. call on Thursday to the 1300 block of Lum Road in Centralia was allegedly found to be in possession of methamphetamine. Garrett J. Dempsey was booked into the Lewis County Jail, according to the Centralia Police Department.
