AUTO THEFT

• A white Nissan Xterra was reported stolen from a car dealership on the 1100 block of South Gold Street in Centralia, according to a report made to police about 3:50 a.m. today. It has a license plate reading BLS 5517, according to the Centralia Police Department.

CAR PROWL

• A purse was reported stolen from a vehicle that was left unlocked at the 1300 block of Alexander Street in Centralia, according to a report made to police about 7:40 a.m. today.

DRUGS

• A 38-year-old Chehalis resident picked up on an outstanding warrant at the 300 block of Lowe Street in Centralia about 10 a.m. on Sunday was also arrested for possession of methamphetamine. Joseph K. Dodd was booked into the Lewis County Jail, according to the Centralia Police Department.

• When Centralia police contacted a 24-year-old for sleeping at the 300 block of North Gold Street in Centralia about 8 a.m. on Sunday, they also arrested the Centralia resident for possession of methamphetamine. Sierra C. Yeager was booked into the Lewis County Jail, according to the Centralia Police Department.

‘EXPOSED’

• Centralia police called to the 600 block of North Tower Avenue at about 5:45 p.m. on Sunday arrested a 29-year-old man for indecent exposure. Lucas D. C. Bryan, of Centralia, was then released at the scene with a court date, according to the Centralia Police Department.

    Everyone over 65 should be required to take some sort of driving exam every couple years to ensure their old asses can still drive safely without killing someone.

    I get that it’s hard for the elderly in rural areas, but this shot is ridiculous and avoidable.
