ASSAULT
• Officers called to the 1200 block of Harrison Avenue about 11:25 p.m. on Sunday arrested a 24-year-old Centralia man because he allegedly chased somebody with a knife. Nicholas D. Calosso was booked into the Lewis County Jail for second-degree assault, according to the Centralia Police Department.
• Police called to the 900 block of South Scheuber Road about 12:05 a.m. on Sunday because an 18-year-old patient allegedly assaulted a nurse booked Brycen A. Friedley, of Chehalis, into the Lewis County Jail for third-degree assault, according to the Centralia Police Department.
THEFT, THEFT, THEFT
• An individual reported at about 5:30 p.m. on Sunday that a solar powered motion light taken from his front porch on the 1500 block of Belmont Avenue in Centralia.
• A debit card was reported stolen about 2:30 a.m. on Sunday in a case associated with the 100 block of West Magnolia Street in Centralia.
• Chehalis police were called to the 1500 block of Northwest Louisiana Avenue about 7 p.m. on Saturday following the discovery a vehicle parked behind a building had been prowled. The glove box was cleaned out and the gas door was left open, according to the Chehalis Police Department.
FAKE BILL
• Chehalis police were called to the 1600 block of Northwest Louisiana Avenue about 5:25 p.m. on Saturday because a customer getting shopping cart found a counterfeit $100 bill and turned it in.
VANDALISM
• Chehalis police were called about 8:45 a.m. on Friday following the discovery that someone had broken out the driver’s side window of a vehicle in a city parking lot at the 10 block of Northeast Cascade Avenue. Nothing appeared to be missing, according to the Chehalis Police Department.
