BAR FIGHT

• Three men were arrested for fighting in public after allegedly being involved in a physical dispute in a bar on the 100 block of South Tower Avenue in Centralia just before 2 a.m. yesterday. Issued citations and then released were Brandon M. Webley, 32 of Centralia; David Aguinaga, 28 of Yelm; and Michael D. Aguinaga, 34 of Chehalis, according to the Centralia Police Department.

THEFT, THEFT, THEFT

• Centralia police were called just before 10 p.m. yesterday to the 1100 block of View Avenue where an individual reported her purse was stolen from the break room at work.

• Centralia police were called to the 400 block of West Main Street about 10:15 a.m. on Monday where they took a report of the theft of a toy made from brass shell casings. The case is under investigation, according to the Centralia Police Department.

FRAUD

• Chehalis police were contacted just after 1 p.m. yesterday by an individual who reported receiving an email they believed from their employer asking them to purchase gift cards in what turned out to be an attempted scam in a case associated with a location on the 1600 block of North National Avenue.

DRUGS

• Centralia police arrested a 21-year-old woman about 5:45 a.m. today after contacting her in her vehicle at the 900 block of Old Airport Way and reportedly observing drugs in plain view on her lap. Felicia M. Segerman, of Chehalis,  was booked into the Lewis County Jail for possession of methamphetamine, according to the Centralia Police Department.

• Chehalis police called about 7:30 p.m. yesterday for a woman allegedly “huffing” in a parking lot at the 1600 block of Northwest Louisiana Avenue arrested the 27-year-old Chehalis resident for inhaling toxic fumes and then released her to a relative.

• A small plastic bindle of suspected methamphetamine was found inside a store at the 600 block of South Tower Avenue in Centralia after two customers had been asked to leave the property around 12:30 a.m. yesterday. It was not clear at the time who the item belonged to, but the matter is under investigation, according to the Centralia Police Department.

• Because a small plastic bindle with residue was found near a 25-year-old Chehalis man when he was contacted by police at about 11 p.m. on Monday at the 600 block of Harrison Avenue in Centralia, a case is being referred to prosecutors for a potential charge of possession of methamphetamine, according to the Centralia Police Department.

• Chehalis police were called about 2:40 p.m. on Monday to the 500 block of Southeast Adams Avenue where suspected heroin and methamphetamine were found among a client’s belongings at a detox center. A a case is being referred to prosecutors for potential charges, according to the Chehalis Police Department.

PERSON HOSPITALIZED FOR INTOXICATION

• Centralia police conducting a welfare check located a person without an address in an alley near the 600 block of North Tower Avenue who was extremely intoxicated and was transported to the hospital at about 5:45 p.m. on Monday. The male was issued an infraction for open container in public, according to the Centralia Police Department.
