BURGLARY

• Centralia police were called to the 900 block of West Chestnut Street about 2:30 p.m. yesterday for a break-in to a shed in which a chainsaw, a weed eater and a chop saw were stolen.

AUTO THEFT

• A tan-colored 1991 Honda Accord was reported stolen about 8:20 a.m. on Thursday from the 1400 block of Johnson Road in Centralia. The four-door car has a license plate reading 034 YJN, according to the Centralia Police Department.

CAR PROWL

• Police were called for a vehicle prowl at about 3:10 yesterday at the 2000 block of Borst Avenue in Centralia. A male suspect was observed entering an unsecured vehicle and stealing cash, according to the Centralia Police Department.

FENCE DOWN

• Gregory L. Johnson, 60, of Utah was cited for hit and run after the tractor trailer he was driving ran over a fence and continued on without stopping after the collision at West Cherry and South Pearl streets at about 1:45 p.m. yesterday, according to the Centralia Police Department.

PEW, PEW, PEW

• Centralia police investigated a report of multiple gunshots heard in the area of the 900 block of Long Road at about 6:45 a.m. today and found duck hunters. They were just west of that location and on private property outside Centralia city limits, according to the Centralia Police Department. What they were doing was lawful, but it is illegal to discharge a firearm within the city limits, police indicated.
