• Centralia police took a report on Friday night about a wrench being thrown through the windshield of a car parked at Pearl and Walnut streets.
AUTO THEFT
• A 1998 baby blue Honda Civic was reported stolen this morning in a case associated with the 1400 block of Lewis Street in Centralia. Officers called just before 6 a.m. were told the owner loaned it to their brother and it went missing sometime during the night from in front of the brother’s home, according to the Centralia Police Department. The car has an Oregon license of 587 GZF and has three has three white wheels and one black wheel, according to the Centralia Police Department.
• A black 1999 Toyota pickup truck was reported stolen just after 9 p.m. yesterday from the 1400 block of Johnson Road in Centralia, according to the Centralia Police Department.
DOMESTIC DISPUTE
• Jesse C. Sheldon, 35, and Melissa A. Simmons, 36, were arrested for first-degree burglary overnight after being denied entry into a home on the 300 block of Kearney Street, whereupon they allegedly assaulted the resident who is a relative of one of the suspects, according to the Centralia Police Department. Officers responding about 12:20 a.m. booked the Centralia residents into the Lewis County Jail, according to police.
CAR PROWL
• Police were called at 1:30 p.m. yesterday about a vehicle prowl at the 500 block of Harrison Avenue in Centralia. A purse was taken from the unlocked vehicle, according to the Centralia Police Department.
