CHEHALIS – A 45-year-old Randle man was arrested for unlawful imprisonment after deputies found his 16-year-old girlfriend tied up inside his garage yesterday afternoon.
The Lewis County Sheriff’s Office was called around 4 p.m. about a dispute on the 100 block of McKay Street, Chief Civil Deputy Stacy Brown said this morning.
A deputy could hear a male and female shouting from the street and discovered the teenager in the open building with her hands tied behind her back with tape, Brown said.
The girl said Jeffrey S. Plaas had thrown her on the ground and would not let her go, Brown said.
Brown said it’s not clear exactly how long she had been there, but about 20 minutes earlier, deputies had taken a call about the pair walking past a Randle cafe, with the male pushing and shoving the female.
The 16-year-old told deputies he had over the previous 24 hours pulled her hair and slapped her, Brown said.
She had swelling on her face, including a bloody nose, Brown said.
Plaas was booked into the Lewis County Jail for unlawful imprisonment and fourth-degree assault, domestic violence, according to Brown.
The girl declined treatment and was returned to her parents in Ashford.

This 46 yr.old man should be charged with sexual assult.he is almost 3x her age.this is clearly not a boyfriend /girlfriend relationship.This teen needs counseling and her dad to kick some sick perverted ass.old fashioned style.

hit the send button too early!!! as i stated i have never approved of this relationship from the beginning yet was told over and over “16 is the age of concent” I NEVER CONCENTED FOR MY DAUGHTER TO DO ANYTHING WITH THIS MONSTER!!!! he would pick her up as soon as i left to work i would pick her up countless times, when i could find them that is. yet she kept leaving over and over
i cant even begin to explain how many times the eatonville, and pierce county sheriffs have been contacted regarding this relationship between these 2!!!! i was beginning to think i was the only person alive who thought this was ALL WRONG
The only charges so far are the Assault 4th and unlawful imprisonment but the girl and her family are going to see about adding others from what I heard…..

I know the family tried to get the police to do something about this relationship a long time ago but they said there was nothing they could do…..Well it took all this for them to finally do something and now this girl is gonna be scared of men for awhile I’m sure….This isn’t his first time getting into trouble BTW
are you kidding me??? 45 with a 16 year old?? he need his ________ beat! and her! what the heck.. we have a “daddy complex? holy smokes! no mention of charges of a sexual nature? admits shes his girl friend.. does it really take a rocket scientist to figure that one out? little lady.. you need someone in your age group.. and mister.. you need a bullet.
Did I miss something? Why wasn’t he arrested or under investigation for child molestation or something as well? When I saw the ages at first I thought it was a typo and it was really her dad not boyfriend.
