THREAT

• Centralia police were contacted about 1:15 p.m. yesterday to take a report of death threats made to a local person, in a case associated with the 700 block of Harrison Avenue. Police are investigating.

• A boy, younger than 18, was arrested and booked into the Lewis County Juvenile Detention Center yesterday for allegedly making threats to harm staff members at school. An officer responding to the 900 block of Johnson Road following an approximately 8:25 a.m. yesterday call labeled the case harassment.

CONTEMPT OF COURT

• A 55-year-old Centralia woman was ordered by a judge to be jailed for 24 hours after she was found to be in contempt of court yesterday. Bethia L. Williams was allegedly disorderly, contemptuous, and (displayed) insolent behavior towards the judge during proceedings in Centralia Municipal Court, according to the Centralia Police Department.

THEFT, THEFT, THEFT

• Chehalis police were called about 9:40 a.m. yesterday to take a report of a second-degree burglary at the 2500 block of Northeast Kresky Avenue.

• Chehalis police were called just before 9 a.m. yesterday to take a report of the theft of a truck from the 2500 block of North National Avenue. The gray 2003 GMC Sierra 2500 has been missing for a couple of weeks, according to the Chehalis Police Department.

• Chehalis police were called to the 10 block of Southwest Chehalis Avenue at about 10:15 a.m. on Monday to take a report of a second-degree burglary.

• Chehalis police were called to the 2500 block of Northeast Kresky Avenue at about 12:45 p.m. on Monday to take a report of a second-degree burglary.

• Construction materials were stolen from a building site at the 1800 block of Ahlers Avenue in Centralia, according to a report made to police about 12:30 p.m. yesterday.

• A generator was stolen from a residence at the 700 block of Vienna Street in Centralia, according to a report made to police about 10:15 a.m. yesterday.

CAR PROWL

• Centralia police got a report of a vehicle prowl  about 6:30 a.m. today at the 3300 block of Borst Avenue.

• Centralia police were called to the 1000 block of South Gold Street about 8:50 a.m. on Monday where someone had reportedly gained access into the fenced yard of a business and broke into a vehicle.

ON THE ROAD, OFF THE ROAD

• A 24-year-old Centralia resident was arrested for driving under the influence as well as hit and run following an approximately 7:40 p.m. call yesterday associated with the 800 block of Harrison Avenue in Centralia. Yuriy Gaidaichuk was booked into the Lewis County Jail, according to the Centralia Police Department.

• A 63-year-old Tenino man was injured when his Ford Ranger struck the rear of a Ford 350 pickup on northbound state Route 395 about nine miles north of Pasco this morning. Daniel Green was transported to Lourdes Medical Center and cited for speed too fast for conditions, according to the Washington State Patrol. The other driver was reportedly unhurt.
