BURGLARY
• Tools and other items were stolen from a shop at the 1100 block of West First Street in Centralia, according to a report made to police at about 12:35 p.m. on Sunday.
• Officers called to the 900 block of South Tower Avenue at 9:30 a.m. on Sunday arrested a 29-year-old Centralia man for allegedly attempting to break into a garage. Aaron J. Henning was booked into the Lewis County Jail for second-degree burglary, according to the Centralia Police Department.
• Centralia police were called to the 1000 block of North Tower Avenue at about 11:15 a.m. on Saturday where an unknown person had entered a detached shed and taken tools and other items.
• Police were called to the 1300 block of Lum Road in Centralia at 8:05 a.m. on Saturday where during the night someone had broken the window to a business and stole items from inside.
• Chehalis police were called to the 1500 block of Northwest State Avenue where someone had broken into a shop building and attempted to steal two vehicles which were there to have work done. The suspect had driven one of the vehicles, a truck, out through the closed shop door, but abandoned it, according to the Chehalis Police Department. Officers following up on the 7:30 a.m. Saturday report on Sunday arrested a suspect. Kimberly R. Terrell, 41, from Chehalis, was booked into the Lewis County Jail for second-degree burglary, and faces possible other charges as well, according to police.
• Centralia police were called about 4:35 a.m. on Saturday to a business on the 700 block of West Main Street where someone had broke in during the night and stolen items.
• Centralia police called about noon on Friday to the 900 block of G Street arrested a 48-year-old Tenino man who had allegedly entered a shed and attempted to steal property from it. Douglas H. Cook was booked into the Lewis County Jail for second-degree burglary, according to the Centralia Police Department.
THEFT
• Chehalis police were called about 7:25 a.m. today to the 700 block of Northwest Liberty Place where an individual reported they woke up to discover their work truck was missing. Stolen was a silver 2005 Chevrolet with Valley Steel Construction on the side, according to the Chehalis Police Department.
• Centralia police were called to a nursing facility at the 1500 block of Harrison Avenue just after 5 p.m. on Monday where they took a report from a resident about the theft of money orders.
• Chehalis police were called about 6:10 p.m. on Friday to take a report of the theft of tens of thousands of dollars worth of tools in a case associated with a location on the 700 block of Southwest Chehalis Avenue. Police are investigating.
• Centralia police took a report of money being taken from an individual’s purse at the 1500 block of Harrison Avenue at about 12:55 p.m. on Friday.
FRAUD
• Centralia police were called about 1:40 p.m. on Sunday regarding an unknown person opening a credit card account in someone else’s name, in a case associated with a location on the 500 block of North Iron Street.
• Someone attempted to buy merchandise with counterfeit money at the 600 block of Harrison Avenue in Centralia, according to a report made to police at about 9:50 p.m. on Friday.
CAR PROWL
• Keys were stolen from out of the ignition of an unlocked vehicle at the 1400 block of Crescent Avenue in Centralia, according to a report made to police at about 5:25 p.m. on Monday.
• Tools were stolen from a vehicle at the 400 block of South iron Street in Centralia, according to a report made to police at 8:55 p.m. on Sunday.
DANGEROUS WEAPON
• Officers arresting a 19-year-old man on an outstanding warrant at the 100 block of West High Street in Centralia just before 2 p.m. on Monday also arrested him for a dangerous weapon violation, according to the Centralia Police Department. Deago G. Perez, from Chehalis, was booked into the Lewis County Jail, according to police.
VANDALISM
• Centralia police were called to the 900 block of South Scheuber Road at about 2:20 p.m. on Sunday because a 48-year-old woman from Dalles, Oregon, allegedly caused damage to a stranger’s vehicle. Marcie J. Possinger was booked into the Lewis County Jail, according to the Centralia Police Department.
• Centralia police were called to the 100 block of East Fourth Street just before 8:15 a.m. on Friday because someone had spray painted a garage.
ON THE ROAD, OFF THE ROAD
• A pedestrian suffered what police called minor injuries in a collision between them and a vehicle at the 1300 block of South Gold Street which was reported about 10:10 a.m. on Friday, according to the Centralia Police Department.

• And, as usual, other incidents such as arrests for warrants, third-degree theft, driving under the influence, driving with suspended license, fourth-degree domestic assault; responses for alarm, dispute, shoplifting, trespassing, hit and run, civil issue, suspicious circumstances, misdemeanor theft, vehicle collision and more among 524 calls for local law enforcement and / or fire-emergency medical services in the 96-hour period ending about 7 a.m. today.
