THEFT, THEFT, THEFT

• A vehicle prowl occurred in which a computer, books and a pair of shoes were stolen at the 1100 block of Harrison Avenue in Centralia, according to a report made to police just after 10 p.m. yesterday.

• Centralia police were called at abut 9:10 p.m. yesterday to the 900 block of G Street because a set of tires and wheels were stolen off of a parked vehicle.

• Police were called to the 800 block of North Tower Avenue in Centralia at about 4:15 p.m. yesterday to take a report that an unknown person climbed a fence and stole a number of car keys from vehicles parked in the fenced area.

• Someone stole a package from a front porch on the 200 block of Denny Way in Centralia, according to a report made to police at 4 p.m. yesterday.

VANDALISM

• Chehalis police were called to the 1200 block of Northwest Louisiana Avenue at 3:45 p.m. yesterday to investigate damage done to two rental trucks. A gas tank on one was damaged and a lock and the ignition on the other, according to the Chehalis Police Department.

ON THE ROAD, OFF THE ROAD

• A 30-year-old Centralia man was arrested for driving under the influence after he allegedly crashed a vehicle through a fence while intoxicated at the 1200 block of Tower Avenue in Centralia. Officers called just after 8 p.m. yesterday booked Chad C. Bass into the Lewis County Jail, according to the Centralia Police Department.
