BREAK-IN CHEHALIS

• Chehalis police were called to a building on the 1200 block of Northwest State Avenue about 4 p.m. yesterday where it appeared someone had been inside and some boxes were moved around, possibly related to an alarm activation days earlier.

THEFT CENTRALIA

• Centralia police were called to the 1400 block of Johnson Road about 10:15 p.m. yesterday to take a report of the theft of the coin slide mechanism on several washing machines at an apartment complex.

• Centralia police were called about 3:25 p.m. yesterday to the 600 block of Centralia College Boulevard where a backpack was stolen. It contained a laptop, digital recorder, book and makeup, according to the Centralia Police Department.

• Centralia police were called to the  400 block of South Buckner Street about 2:30 p.m. yesterday for a vehicle prowl.

COMPLAINT OF SEXUAL MISCONDUCT

• Chehalis police were called about 11:40 a.m. yesterday to the 300 block of Southwest 16th Street to take a report of alleged inappropriate touching involving two juveniles. The case is under investigation, according to the Chehalis Police Department.
