INDECENT LIBERTIES

• Chehalis police were called about 11:20 a.m. yesterday to the 1600 block of Northwest Louisiana Avenue to take a report that a stranger came up behind an 18-year-old girl who was shopping and grabbed her inappropriately. He was confronted, but he left before police arrived, according to the Chehalis Police Department. Police are investigating. A description of the suspect was unavailable this morning. Department spokesperson Linda Bailey said she understands a second complaint of a similar nature is being looked into. Bailey asks anyone else who may have been touched inappropriately while at Wal-Mart to please contact police.

FELONY ASSAULT REPORTED

• Centralia police took a report at about 10 a.m. yesterday from an individual who said he was assaulted in March at the 100 block of South Tower Avenue leaving him with a broken jaw.
