EIGHT APARTMENTS DAMAGED BY FIRE

• Nobody was injured but 11 people were displaced after a fire broke out in a Centralia apartment complex this morning. Crews and police called just before 3:20 a.m. to the 1000 block of North Scheuber Road evacuated residents. Eight units were affected, according to Riverside Fire Authority. Police detectives are assisting with investigating the cause of the fire, according to the Centralia Police Department.

HARASSMENT

• Keith J. Hill, 35 of Centralia, was arrested for allegedly threatening to kill his girlfriend after police were called to the 1200 block of West Main Street in Centralia about 2:40 p.m. yesterday.

FRAUD

• Centralia police were called just before noon yesterday when an individual reported reported the theft of their bank card in a case associated with Maple and Gold streets.

DRUGS

• Two juvenile males were booked for possession of marijuana and one adult male, Jesus A. Gomez-Martinez, 20 of Centralia, was issued a summons on an outstanding warrant when police responded just before 7 p.m. yesterday to the 300 block of South Cedar Street in Centralia

ON THE ROAD, OFF THE ROAD

• Centralia police were called to the 1600 block of South Gold Street about 1:20 p.m. yesterday where a vehicle struck a building.
