AUTO THEFT
• Centralia police were called just before 6:30 a.m. today to the 200 block of South Silver Street about the theft of a champagne-colored 1995 Toyota Camry, according to the Centralia Police Department.
DRUG SEARCH
• Centralia police impounded a car and got a search warrant for suspected drugs after two people were found sleeping in the vehicle yesterday morning at the 1100 block of Belmont Avenue. Officers could see suspected drug paraphernalia in the car, according to the Centralia Police Department. The suspected drugs are being sent for analysis and charges are pending, according to police.
FRAUD
• An individual called Chehalis police yesterday about someone else possibly getting into one of his accounts.
CAR PROWL
• Police were called at 8:20 a.m. yesterday regarding a vehicle prowl at the 500 block of North Tower Avenue in Centralia. Change was stolen, according to the Centralia Police Department.

Outside of the fact we will always have to deal with auto/semi accidents on our Chehalis corridor on I5, Thank God our community is relatively safe! Poor drug addicts are our biggest concern. Car prowls, thefts, and just plain obnoxious behavior is our malady.
