THREAT WITH FIREARM
• Centralia police are investigating after a call for a dispute involving two males and a gun at the 2800 block of Russell Road last night. Officers responding about 10:25 p.m. were told threats were made with a gun, according to the Centralia Police Department.”All the parties involved have been located as well as the gun in question,” police stated in a brief summary of the incident.
MISSING MONEY
• Centralia police were called at 10:50 a.m. yesterday to the 1500 block of Harrison Avenue about the theft of cash occurring sometime over the past several weeks, according to the Centralia Police Department.
BAD BILL
• Chehalis police were called about 3:30 p.m. yesterday to the 700 block of Southwest Market Boulevard where an individual reportedly attempted to pass a counterfeit $20 bill at a retail store, according to the Chehalis Police Department.
DRUGS
• A 31-year-old Toledo resident was arrested for possession of heroin after contact with a deputy about 1:40 a.m. today at the 200 block of Drews Prairie Road outside Toledo, according to the Lewis County Sheriff’s Office. Law enforcement was in the area investigating a separate incident and made a traffic stop on a Honda Civic for a loud exhaust, and subsequently found Kaylon D. Trimmer was in possession of suspected drugs, according to the sheriff’s office.
ATTEMPTED SCAM
• Chehalis police were called about 12:45 p.m. yesterday by an individual seeking assistance for an elderly person who had gotten a phone call from someone pretending to be a grandson in jail who needed bail money, but wasn’t, according to the Chehalis Police Department.
