MORE THAN A DOZEN STORAGE UNITS BURGLED

• Police were called about 11:30 p.m. yesterday for a burglary at a storage facility on the 600 block of North Gold Street in Centralia in which 18 units were broken into. Someone jumped a fence to get inside, according to the Centralia Police Department. The case is under investigation.

ON THE ROAD, OFF THE ROAD

• A 17-year-old boy was arrested about 11:35 p.m. yesterday yesterday at the 700 block of Harrison Avenue in Centralia for allegedly driving under the influence of marijuana. The teen was also arrested for possession of marijuana and then booked into the Lewis County Juvenile Detention Center, according to the Centralia Police Department.

• Centralia police responded to an approximately 10:20 p.m. report of a hit and run yesterday at Maple Street and Tower Avenue involving a green pickup truck.  Officers later found and impounded the truck, according to the Centralia Police Department.
