ON THE ROAD, OFF THE ROAD

• Centralia police chased three suspects in a black Honda suspected of shoplifting at the 1300 block of Lum Road up Interstate 5 until the driver of the fleeing vehicle began to drive in such an unsafe manner that it was deemed necessary to discontinue the pursuit on Saturday morning. It tuned out the license plates on the car were stolen, according to the Centralia Police Department.

• Chehalis police arrested a 18-year-old Centralia resident for driving under the influence after he ran in to two parked vehicles at the 300 block of South Market Boulevard about 6 a.m. on Saturday. Cristian Ramirez-Dado was booked into the Lewis County Jail, according to the Chehalis Police Department.

• A pair of Rochester residents were arrested for third-degree theft on Saturday after they allegedly shoplifted a $399 drill set from Home Depot in Chehalis, were chased by civilians in a pickup truck and ended up wrecking near Rice and Rogers road just before 1 p.m. on Saturday. Police were told the suspects threw the loot into the river, according to the Chehalis Police Department. Cody D. McAdam, 25, and James M. Hamilton, were cited and then released pending a court date, according to police.

TRESPASSING

• Police were called about 9:50 a.m. yesterday to a business on the 1100 block of Harrison Avenue in Centralia where sometime during the night someone entered unlawfully and rummaged around. Nothing was taken, according to the Centralia Police Department.

EXPOSED

• Ryan L. Patterson, 36, of Chehalis was arrested and booked into the Lewis County Jail for indecent exposure after he was allegedly witnessed flashing his genitalia on the 800 block of Harrison Avenue in Centralia at about 12:20 p.m. yesterday, according to the Centralia Police Department.

FUNNY MONEY

• Chehalis police were called to a coffee stand on Northwest Arkansas Way about 6:25 p.m. on Thursday after they had accepted a counterfeit $50 bill from a customer. It was placed into evidence, according to the Chehalis Police Department.

CAR PROWL

• Police were called about 9:30 p.m. yesterday to the 2400 block of Borst Avenue in Centralia for a vehicle prowl in which a male suspect was seen running from the scene. A cell phone was taken, according to the Centralia Police Department.

• Centralia police were called for a vehicle prowl about 7:30 p.m. on Saturday at the 1000 block of Harrison Avenue.

• A car stereo was reported stolen from a vehicle at the 200 block of North Buckner Street in Centralia at about 2:30 p.m. on Saturday.

• Police were called about 12:15 p.m. on Saturday for a vehicle prowl on the 700 block of Allen Avenue in Centralia. A Cannon Rebel T5i camera was missing, according to the Centralia Police Department.
