CHEHALIS – The Thurston County Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public’s help to identify the young adult male whose body was found in the brush near the entrance to Margaret McKenny Campground in Capitol Forest on Thursday.
He had multiple gunshot wounds and had been placed there by unknown subjects, according to the sheriff’s office.
The sheriff’s office this morning shared a sketch and described him as a mixed race black male between the ages of 17 and 25. He is 6-feet tall and weighs 170 pounds, according to Sgt. Carla Carter.
The sheriff’s office also shared photos of a black and white hooded sweatshirt he was wearing as well as a shirt with the logo “We shall Overcomb”. He was wearing brown pants, and a Captain America cap was found nearby.
Sgt. Carter initially thought a passenger in a passing vehicle spotted the body and tried to wake him up, but indicated this morning it was a female walking her dog who found the body at about 1:30 p.m. on Thursday.
The area is off Waddell Creek Road Southwest northwest of Littlerock, according to Carter.
It appeared to be a recent death and a homicide investigation is underway, according to Carter.
The victim had no identification on him, she said.
An autopsy revealed the male had a condition which likely places him from the Ohio Valley at some point in his life, according to the sheriff’s office.
The sheriff’s office asks anyone with any information that may help identify him to please contact detective Jamie Gallagher at (360) 480-1650 or detective Ben Elkins at (360) 701-0000.

I believe this person is Amane G. Marshall, originaly from cincinatti, ohio. the condition they speak of is a skin condition on his face and scalp.
Fire pits?
St. Helen’s? Who’s family is affiliated to with origins of particular establishments? (No accusation intended if that’s what “you” think) but I hear things only for eye look.
Switcheroo Ohio valley?
Patriotic is my thoughts of this victim based off his attire.
A star when encased in circles rep what or are affiliated to?
Hey you CSI wannabes, it’s a recent death and Logan has been missing for five months, hello.
That or Mycosis. Gentleman must have had some immunodeficiency disease as well. Seems like a bad area to have one in considering the various endemic diseases that seem to spring up there.
The dude on the grocery store wall is heartbreaking, i’ve been wondering about him for some time now but the politically satirical attire of thise gentleman would lead me to believe he has recently been in a good humor sort of way, unlike the state mentally i think logan would find himself in. I mean certainly the appropriate ethnic background for the trump statement. Not that Mr. Whitey the blue eyed cracker honkey white devil myself is, but i still appreciate said decedent’s choice of clothing.
The whole Captain America being a homosexual trend thing is new to me however unless of course that was just a veiled refference to how you felt about that movie. I would choose a different term but i would have to agree.
He’s part African American, it’s gotta be a hate crime….
Logan Schneidelman is a missing person (male, 19, African American/Caucasian, Tumwater WA) since May 20. Possibly a match?
Any Possibility is it Logan Schiendelman?

Histoplasmosis???
How do you know or think he is from Ohio valley?
Just checked the Thurston County Sheriff website. The person in question, whose poster I saw, is named Logan Schiendelman. Check out his picture in their missing person data bank. Looks similar.
I just saw a missing person noticed this past week – posted in a local business – can’t recall which. The missing subject was a young guy in his twenties of mixed ethnicity. If I recall correctly, however, I think the contact person was with Thurston County, so they’ve probably checked that angle.
The shirt seems to suggest, politically he’s not a Trump supporter. Captain America, I’ve heard can be considered an icon in gay culture.
You’d think someone would have noticed him missing.
