Wellington M. Waggener, of Centralia, is being held on an unrelated matter and was arrested after the approximately 3:25 a.m. incident for third-degree assault, according to the Lewis County Sheriff’s Office. The deputy needed no medical attention as the injury was minor, according to the sheriff’s office.

UNCOOPERATIVE PERSON

Maybe Waggener should be serving his time at Steilacoom or Medical Lake instead, or at least in solitary confinement before he really hurts someone. Whatever the cause, the guy’s a menace.

Seems like a law change would help – so that we can involuntarily commit those who are mentally ill BEFORE they become an imminent danger to self and/or others. This site ranks states regarding how we treat mental illness. While neighboring state Oregon is at the absolute bottom, Washington does little better, coming in at 47.

No mental health issues with waggenger. I believe he is protesting the lack of personal freedom and injustice so prevalent in Washington state. A black man has to be one to do it. People laugh at white boys who claim discrimination but it is a reality. American youth of all colors, today face more government manipulation, corruption, lack of freedom, fines and incarceration than all other previous generations including american colonists. Only american indians, slaves and indentured servants have faced the shattered “American Dream” our youth are living today. Just look at student loans and college tuition. They face multiple hurdles of aggressive government oversight, poverty shaming, ruthless harassment, trumped up charges of felonious activity (possession of mj under 21), flagrant initiations of phony protection orders signed by judges that revoke gun rights, initiate the casual seizure of children from good homes with no evidence or merit. The ability to fight for your rights has been taken. The vast majority of court appointed attorneys are pretenders. Our leaders have sold our rights and freedoms to the highest bidder. This is looking like pre-WW2 Germany. We just came out of the 2nd great depression. Think Im exaggerating? The constitution has been burned and american flag has been shat upon by the patriot act and liberal and conservative do gooders. Respectively. I wouldnt lump his guy into the mentally ill category. This generation is living in a different country then your mother grew up in.

Western State and the Lewis County jail have failed Waggener inso many ways. The jails are being used to house the mentaly I’ll. Looks like the Fluoride is working

I guess I missed the September article where Wellington got thrown back in jail again. Thought he would have gotten smart and taken what was left of his $300k settlement with the LC Jail and moved on to sunnier climates. He was lucky to get off on that rape case and assaulting his jailers last year.

This guy has a long history of getting physical with the cops and the jailers. This last time, in September, he allegedly kicked out the back window of the squad car after being arrested.

The local cops of all departments know him well and probably have a real hardon to put him back in the cooler whenever they can. It seems he isn’t smart enough to leave town or perhaps just likes to fight with the cops. Of course, wherever you go, there you are, so he would probably have trouble elsewhere also.

The stories about Wellington M. Waggener continue to be reported. Multiple arrests and then issues while in jail. It seems there is some major mental health issues in play here and that is sad. Hopefully with the revolving door he seems to be involved in does not escalate to where he or someone else really gets hurt or killed.
