AUTO THEFT

• Deputies arrested two people yesterday evening for theft of a motor vehicle after locating a missing 2016 Ford F150 at an address on the 500 block of Larmon Road near Toledo. The truck was taken from the 200 block of U.S. Highway 12, according to the Lewis County Sheriff’s Office. Booked into the Lewis County Jail were Michael A. Rowland, 30, of Toledo; and David B. Appier, 32, a homeless person, according to the sheriff’s office. Because Appier caused blood exposure when he struck his head on the rear cage of the patrol vehicle, he was additionally booked for second-degree malicious mischief, Cmdr. Dusty Breen said.

• Police were called about 7:10 p.m. yesterday when two individuals were seen attempting to steal a vehicle at the 1200 block of Belmont Avenue in Centralia. The suspects fled prior to police arrival, according to the Centralia Police Department.

• Centralia police were called about 6:20 p.m. yesterday to the 200 block of North Railroad Avenue to take a report someone had tried to steal a vehicle, damaging the ignition.

• Police were called about 3:30 p.m. yesterday for the theft of a black 1998 Jeep Cherokee from the 1400 block of Harrison Avenue in Centralia. It was located later in the day in Thurston County, according to the Centralia Police Department.

• Centralia police were called just after 7 o’clock yesterday morning following the discovery a 1993 Acura Integra was stolen from the 3000 block of Borst Avenue. The vehicle was recovered abandoned later in the day, according to the Centralia Police Department.

• A deputy responded to an approximately 6:20 a.m. call yesterday of a 1999 Toyota Camry stolen from the 3100 block of Ives Road in Centralia. The car, which had been locked, was taken during the night and contained about $1,600 worth of woodworking tools, according to the Lewis County Sheriff’s Office.

CAR PROWL

• Centralia police were called about 10:30 p.m. yesterday for a vehicle prowl at the 1300 block of Harrison Avenue. Someone forced their way into the locked truck and stole change and cigarettes, according to the Centralia Police Department.

• Chehalis police were called to a business on the 1000 block of Southwest Interstate Avenue at about 8:40 a.m. yesterday following the discovery someone had gotten into a motorhome parked in a secure area and damaged the steering and ignition.

DRUGS

• Chehalis police were called to Green Hill School about 4:15 p.m. yesterday because an 18-year-old student inmate allegedly was found in possession of a small amount of a green vegetable material. The case is being referred to prosecutors for charging, according to the Chehalis Police Department.

LOST AND FOUND TEEN

• Deputies called about 9:50 p.m. yesterday to the 900 block of Green Mountain Road in Mossyrock for a missing 14-year-old boy, along with other responders, were able to find him about 4 o’clock this morning. He and others had been out for a walk on Weyerhaeuser timber property when he became separated about 7 p.m., according to the Lewis County Sheriff’s Office. The boy, from Ephrata, was uninjured and in good spirits when he was reunited with his family, Cmdr. Dusty Breen said.

ON THE ROAD, OFF THE ROAD

• Centralia police say a car cut off a motorcycle, causing the motorcycle to slide on the roadway at North Gold and Maple streets at about 7 p.m. yesterday. The rider received minor injuries, according to the Centralia Police Department.
