VEHICLE PROWL
• Centralia police were called about 12:25 a.m. today when a resident looked outside and saw two persons with flashlights inside their parked car. The resident yelled at the suspects who fled on foot from the 1000 block of West Walnut Street, according to the Centralia Police Department. Nothing was taken from the car, according to police.
• Police were called just before 10 a.m. on Friday about a vehicle prowl at the 500 block of North Buckner Street in Centralia. A radar detector was stolen during the night, according to the Centralia Police Department.
• Centralia police on Friday took a report of an overnight vehicle prowl at the 100 block of South Gold Street.
DRUGS
• A 37-year-old motorist stopped for a traffic violation on the 1100 block of Harrison Avenue in Centralia just after 9 p.m. on Friday was subsequently arrested for possession of methamphetamine. Guy A McAllister, from Chehalis, was booked into the Lewis County Jail, according to the Centralia Police Department.
ON THE ROAD, OFF THE ROAD
• Firefighters were called about 1:15 a.m. yesterday to a single-vehicle collision into a utility pole on Highway 603 near Tune Road. They initiated patient care, according to Lewis County Fire District 6.
