They just want the tax-exemptions. You think they really care about anything else?
I do not belong to this church, but in the town I do live in the Nazarene church is a very nice church. The folks are very helpful to the community and they do believe in Christ as do Mormons. I am neither, but I have wonder if there is something else going on that we do not know about this crime.
“Church of Nazarene is a bunch of wanna be Mormons they don’t believe in Christ.”
Seriously? Who do you think the Nazarene is?
Do not normally peruse charges? Don’t you know school admistators are also wanna be jail Administrators. Heads=profit issues=more money for the system. They don’t care about the kids. Remember that when they ask for money through the levey.
Church of Nazarene is a bunch of wanna be Mormons they don’t believe in Christ.
If what is reported is all that happened (no destruction of property), then I agree with Mike Beck. How Christian is it to press charges based on coming into an open church and drinking 2 boxes of juice? This world is getting more and more intolerant.
To the elder of the Church of the Nazarene: you had an opportunity to show what the church is suppose to stand for and failed. With no damage done to property and other than a couple juice boxes no items missing, you chose to punish two young people who only saught refuge for the night. They did not break in, they merley walked through the open doors. Is not the house of God suppose to be sanctuary for all? Were their apology letters not sincere enough? Could you not have taken the high road and turned the other cheek? Could you not as a leader in your church and the community have done the christian thing and extended a helping hand or show concern for their welbeing? You could have but you did not. You showed those two not to mess with your church. And you showed the comminity that you as a man of God do not know what it is to turn the other cheek and forgive. If i believed in a God my God would be very upset with you. You are suppose to represent his name. My God would make you write an apology letter to those two for failing to take the chance at touching their souls and possibly changing the path they are on. You failed.
Sandy….clearly he was upset, he shoved the teacher. Regardless of the situation he should not have put his hand on an adult. As for the charges, schools don’t normally charge 11 year old students with assault, so this must be something that is on going, and an issue for that child. They don’t print the back story but I’m sure those involved know, and haven’t taken it lightly.
Because of push they may charge the boy with assault if this child isn’t normally one to act out it need to be checked into. Maybe something happened that made him upset earlier no one knows about.
