Hey Bill S: If you aren’t trying to make some kind of insinuation about this particular man why even bring it up?

Hey Sleeping Giant: Are you saying the rule of law should be ignored? The soup lines you speak of are because of donations from generous people. That proves there are places to go and theft is not necessary.

    You tell ’em Denise!!

  3. Denise says:

    Hey… 55 is not old.

I’m close to that age and I am in better physical shape, have gained triple the wisdom and am a more cautious driver now than I ever was in my 20’s or 30’s.

Did it say he had alcohol in his system? Then he didn’t.

The wreck happened at 8:30AM anyhow – not during Happy Hour.

  4. XDs says:

Those “Moving Couches” being more dangerous are like saying a Cadillac is more dangerous.

More riders in the spring mean more crashes, plain & simple.

  5. Bill S says:

Packwood is becoming a huge motorcycle destination. People just riding for the day from the Puget Sound metro area, West Lewis County and Yakima areas on their loud moving couch type cycles as well as the adventure bike people on their route from White Salmon through Ellensburg.

A lot of the older moving couch people stop at the local tavern and get lubed up before continuing on their way. Not saying he was, but a 55 year old man who buys a moving couch type motorcycle in his old age and stops for a few toddies my have not have the expertise or coordination to keep it on the road on his way home.

  6. The Sleeping Giant says:

Not everybody gets food stamps, sometimes you just gotta eat. Just imagine what would happen if they shut off the Soup Line. Total chaos
