BREAK-IN CENTRALIA
• Centralia police responded about 3:15 p.m. yesterday to a residential burglary on the 900 block of North Pearl Street. A window was broken out and “miscellaneous” items were taken, according to the Centralia Police Department.
THEFT
• Centralia police were called about 11:35 p.m. yesterday regarding several items taken over the weekend from a store on the 1200 block of Lum Road. The case is under investigation, according to the Centralia Police Department.
• A 27-year-old Winlock man was arrested yesterday for misdemeanor theft for allegedly stealing $61.86 worth of soda during the past year from a business on the 1400 block of Northwest Louisiana Avenue in Chehalis. Andrew W. Freeman was then released, pending court, according to the Chehalis Police Department.
• Chehalis police were called about 7 p.m. yesterday after an iPhone was stolen from a vehicle in the parking lot at Safeway. Its owner said she left the windows rolled down while she went inside because she had dogs in the car, according to the Chehalis Police Department. The phone turned up with a 16-year-old Chehalis resident who said he found it, but he was arrested for second-degree theft, department spokesperson Linda Bailey said.
LOST AND FOUND
• Police were called about 12:50 p.m. yesterday to Southwest Fourth Street near McFadden Avenue where a citizen had discovered a small plastic bag containing a white substance. The item will be destroyed, according to the Chehalis Police Department.
DRUGS
• A 29-year-old Centralia resident was arrested for possession of methamphetamine when contacted by law enforcement officers near the Chehalis Police Department on Park Street and Washington Avenue yesterday afternoon. In his pocket was found a crystal substance that field-tested positive for meth, according to the Chehalis Police Department. Andrew T. Field was booked into the Lewis County Jail, according to police.
• An 18-year-old resident was apparently caught smoking marijuana in public yesterday, in Washington Park in Centralia and was arrested. Andrew P. Gastfield was then released following the morning time contact with an officer, according to the Centralia Police Department.

Geez something fishy goin on – 29 yr old Andrew T. Field for meth and 18yr old Andrew P. Gastfield for weed. Lol whada the odds of that happening. Obviously better than I’d imagine.
