Kirotv.com reports the 14-year-old son of Sen. Brian Hatfield is facing charges of rape and child molestation in Lewis County Juvenile Court.

The state legislator from Pacific County has served the 19th District since 1994; he was re-elected in November to serve the district that now includes a portion of western Lewis County.

News reporter Richard Thompson reports the crimes allegedly occurred at one home in Lewis County and another in Pacific County this past winter involving a juvenile victim.

  1. The other PC says:

@Saddened – will you say this for the 11 year old when he hurts your child?

“This child did not learn this behavior from his father. He has been through a lot in his short lifetime, with the loss of his innocence at a very young age by an older, trusted family friend. No one knows the truth about what has happened in this mixed family. The child needs help, not a jail sentence.”

Agreed, it is sad, to everyone involved that didn’t have a choice.

  2. The other PC says:

“No one knows the truth” because it is covered up?? The other article says that the father intended to get counseling, but refused to contact the police. Does the Senator know the law? Who is he trying to protect – his reputation or his son?

And the kid was going to turn himself in? Would have been better to turn oneself in before committing the crime, or immediately afterwards.

That “poor child” made some very poor choices. And they were HIS choices. No one held a gun to his head and said “Rape this child”. Or did someone? Maybe dad knows…. Maybe if Dad was being a father instead of a politian, this “poor child” would have learned more from his father.

He may have been a victim before, but now he is a predator. Enjoy jail kiddo, where you can relive that act every day, in reverse.

Indeed, where is the sympathy for the victim? THAT child will need counseling; he doesn’t then the chances are very high that he will become the next perpetrator.

There is no cure for these kind of people except for a hole through the forehead! !!!!

  4. GuiltyBystander says:

“The child needs help, not a jail sentence.” Is it a typical response for children who’ve had a parent die from cancer to rape someone?
Interesting how you spend an entire paragraph defending a 14-year-old who allegedly raped an 11-year-old boy, yet say not a word of sympathy for the 11-year-old. Who’s the victim here?

  6. Disgusted (The Original) says:

It isn’t usual behavior for a 14 year-old boy to go around “penetrating” a same-sex child that is several years younger than him. This goes beyond hormones. If it was just hormones he’d have been caught jerking off, not molesting other children. There is something wrong with this kid and it makes me wonder where he learned this behavior?

  7. Anyone ever figure hormones may have had a hand in this behavior. I’m guessing hormones take a huge prescedent over what one sees on TV. Never saw a kid 14 who even knows what a CEO or hedgefund manager is.

  8. OldLongJohnson says:

Chances are he’s just emulating the personalities he sees on television, you know the ones who can’t get enough sex, money, drama.

If we’re going to point fingers, it might as well be at the people responsible for making sex ‘fashionable’.

The kid is just a symptom of the problem. Chances are that the CEOs and Hedge Fund fags of our major media outlets are also a bunch of sexually deviant psychopaths.

Cut the head off and the body ceases to exist.

  9. Concerned says:

Let’s see, a 14 year old boy that sexually penetrates a person under 12 doesn’t just come up with this type of behavior on his own. Somewhere along the line he learned it….but daddy won’t let him talk. Hmmm…makes you wonder.
