ONALASKA – The sheriff’s office believes the Onalaska man suspected in last night’s triple homicide is in the Spokane area after they got word he made a cell phone call from there about noon today.

John Allen Booth Jr., 31, is being sought in connection with the shooting deaths of three people around 2 o’clock this morning at a home on Wings Way, just off Gore Road in Onalaska.

A fourth person was shot but airlifted to an unidentified hospital. Lewis County Sheriff Steve Mansfield said detectives think the shooting is related to a drug debt collection.

I live about 8 miles from where this happened and i herd the sirens and when i herd how fast they where moving i called all friends and only one did not pick up and i knew that something was wrong because they dident pick up and they always pick up. Yesterday when i got the news about my friend being shot to death and then having all my other friends come to my house was about the hardest thing ive ever done is break the news that one of our loved ones has been killed. i just hope they find the guy so we can lock his sorry butt in prison for life. Now i have to worrie about my saftey and all of my friends saftey. And im really tired of liberals like TAXPAYER 101 putting our hard working men and women down when i have friends and family who work for the local EMTs and police stations and they said it took them about 15 mins to get out thier with out harming them selfs. Now i must go back to Comferting my friends over our tragic loss.

great to know you only have to bleed out for near HALF AND HOUR before our public “servers and protectors” show up and realize qualified medical teams might be a useful resource at a scene allegedly involving a firearm. then how long to wait for acceptable aid to show up, (lemme guess, took a medic half the time to show up after dispatch said “head out” as it did our public servicemen, who would have vehicles at LEAST within 7-10 min TOPS either west or east of 12, and who SHOULD be far more prepared to enter a possibly violent situation and render initial aid to citizens?) So comforting, this possibility that though you may initially be only in a “serious condition”, you get this fantastic opportunity to achieve “critical” or worse granted by the very ones paid by your taxmoney, the ones who swore to “serve and protect”, the ones on whom your life may well depend on. I applaud these brave folk who let our neighbors lie dying after, gosh how long ago was that first call? Your selflessness and dedication to my fellow county taxpayer is SUCH an inspiration! Inspired to puke, pack my family and move where people really give a flying fiddle. cheers to you all, and a hundred salutes to your inadequacy.

I hope law enforcement finds him soon, many people in that area are worried.
