You bring up a good point Sharyn. Judges run un opposed. I just read where Lewis County detectives investigated a case of multiple counts of child molestation from 2008 and the suspec t was only recently tracked down by a Texas Ranger west of Dallas and was attempting to flee after being a survivalist with weapons…blah blah blah. Fast forward to court, and the honorable Judge BROSEY sets a mind blowing bail of $25,000!!! Ok, that’s $2,500 bucks and a truck title down at the bondsman. I read another article recently of a convicted sex offender that was heading back to prison and was allowed a 6 hour furlow to procure some personal effects. He was HOMELESS!!! Oh, he didn’t show back up and now has a warrant out for his arrest!!! Now this convicted sex offender is running scared in our community, desperate!!! For what?!?!? Because a judge let a homeless sex offender out to get what? His sleeping bag? Why are these judges getting away with this and running unopposed??? While everyone is mesmerized by national elections that our vote really doesn’t count in anymore, WE’RE GETTING SCREWED AT HOME!!!
I did vote but yikes we are in trouble for the next four years.
