The (Longview) Daily News reports Ron Reynolds is asking district officials to pay him more than $400,000 to resign his position as principal of Toledo Elementary School.
Reynolds was placed on paid leave after an October coroner’s inquest jury ruled unanimously his then-wife Ronda Reynolds’ 1998 death was homicide and named him and his son Jonathan as responsible. No charges were brought for lack of evidence.

Seeker, he can “blackmail” them with the idea of hanging around and being a face for a district that needs to move on an heal. Or so he thinks. I say, tell him to go away and live with his conscience. He was a lousy principal who was tolerated by his staff and parents.
What can he blackmail the district with?
Oh , You do not want to know what I say to that , but look at it from his point of view, he already alledgedly (thats for you Sharon) got away with murder so why not, but I disagree with George, George you and I both know some other backwater town with no resourses or good background checks will hire this P.O.S. Thats the American way. Second chances all around. If I was Rhondas Mom I would make sure wherever he lands they know his history. Then again with that kind of money he can afford to retire.
Why is he asking for so much? Perhaps it is because they know they will never give him his job back, and that he will never get another job anywhere else? Or perhaps he’s just holding the system ransom because “he deserves a big paycheck”? He deserves NOTHING, except for maybe a jail cell….
