This man was my brother. He was not suicidal. It was freak accident.
I know the guy through a friend of a friend. He hardly ever had a car so he walked or got rides. I’m wondering what the heck he was doing on the tracks and why he didn’t move. Who knows. He has 3 kids, and a girlfriend of 11 years. It’s strange.
Brutal. I was on an Amtrak from Seattle to Centralia one year just before Thanksgiving when it hit a suicidal man standing with his arms outstretched in front of his car parked across the tracks. It was pretty horrible for a lot of people.
