GANG VANDALISM

• Two men were caught yesterday morning breaking windows out of a vehicle parked on the 200 block of North Diamond Street, where a house had just been freshly spray painted with “LVL”, according to Centralia police. Five other homes on the same block had been “freshly tagged” with gang graffiti as well, according to police. Officers reportedly found Juan V. Vasquez, 25, and Adan Sanchez, 29, with paint on their clothing and bodies. The Centralia men were booked into the Lewis County Jail for second-degree malicious mischief, according to the Centralia Police Department.

STREET FIGHT

• A 27-year-old man was arrested about 5:15 p.m. on Saturday in Centralia for allegedly standing in the middle of the roadway and trying to start a fight with a 25-year-old man. Isaiah M.O. Davis, of Centralia, was arrested for disorderly conduct and then released after the incident on the 1300 block of West Main Street, according to Centralia police. The other man involved was arrested for being in possession of a dangerous weapon, and then released, according to police.

CAR PROWLS

• Centralia police were called just before 8 p.m. last night to a car prowl on the 300 block of North Gold Street. A window was broken out and the car stereo was missing, according to the Centralia Police Department.

• A 38-year-old man was arrested about 7:45 p.m. last night in Centralia for vehicle prowl and theft. Michael A. Kauer, of Centralia, was booked into the Lewis County Jail in connection with goings-on on the 500 block of North Tower Avenue, according to Centralia police.

DRUGS

• A 51-year-old Centralia woman was arrested for possession of methamphetamine late Saturday afternoon in Centralia. Deanna M. Frye was booked into the Lewis County Jail following her contact with an officer on the 1100 block of Harrison Avenue, according to the Centralia Police Department.

• A 45-year-old Centralia man was arrested about 3:30 p.m. on Saturday for warrants and possession of heroin, according to Centralia police. Victor A.L. Whalen was contacted by an officer regarding a theft investigation at the 1100 block of Harrison Avenue in Centralia and then booked into the Lewis County Jail, according to the Centralia Police Department.

VANDALISM

• A vehicle parked on Railroad Avenue near Maple Street in Centralia was found Saturday morning with its rear window broken out.

• Somebody broke a window out of a vehicle on the 500 block of North Tower Avenue in Centralia, according to a report made to police Saturday morning.
