HEROIN, COCAINE, METHAMPHETAMINE FOUND IN TRAILER

• Centralia police officers joined by sheriff’s deputies yesterday evening found suspected heroin, and cocaine and methamphetamine at a travel trailer on the 1300 block of Highway 6 west of Chehalis, according to a news release this morning. The Centralia Police Department Anti-Crime team served a search warrant there about 5 p.m. and also found packaging materials and scales, leading to the arrest of a 47-year-old man for possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver. Kevin N. Stewart, 47, was booked into the Lewis County Jail. The amount of suspected drugs found was not revealed.

MEDICAL MARIJUANA

• Chehalis police early this morning served a search warrant at a home on Southwest 14th Street following up on information about marijuana growing there. The visit just after 7 a.m. by detectives and a patrol officer was fairly low key and uneventful, according to police detective Sgt. Rick McNamara. “We were aware in the past they had medical marijuana and we found they are in compliance,” McNamara said this morning.

STOLEN STUFF, BROKEN GLASS

• A deputy checking out a report early this morning of a suspicious vehicle, a moped parked on private property, woke up the individual with the moped who was sleeping and then discovered it had been reported stolen from a Centralia resident. Eric B. J. Maggard, 27, of Castle Rock, was arrested and booked into the Lewis County Jail for possession of a stolen vehicle following the 12:45 a.m. call to the 4000 block of Jackson Highway, just north of Toledo, according to the Lewis County Sheriff’s Office.

• Centralia police about 6 p.m. on Tuesday that somebody entered a travel trailer on the 1100 block of West Chestnut Street and stole CDs, the victim’s rent money and other items, according to police.

• About 10 p.m. last night a Centralia police officer responded to the 500 block of Ash Street in Centralia where somebody had broken out the rear and passenger side windows of a vehicle. It followed a “domestic issue” which occurred in Thurston County, according to the Centralia Police Department.

• Centralia police about 11 p.m. last night made a report that two windows were broken out of a building on the 1200 block of West Main Street.

• Sometime between 4:30 a.m. and 5:05 a.m. on Tuesday, somebody prowled a vehicle on the 1100 block of Silverbrook Road in Randle and took 20 music CDs, according to a report made to the Lewis County Sheriff’s Office on Tuesday.

• Somebody entered an unlocked vehicle at the 800 block of Johnson Road in Centralia and stole pain medication, according to  report made to police about 6 p.m. last night.

• Just before noon yesterday, an officer was called to the 700 block of West Second Street in Centralia where somebody pried the window seal from a vehicle and stole a ring, according to police.

• Centralia police took a report yesterday morning from a woman who said she was billed for taxes by somebody using her social security number in another state.
