• A burglary was reported at about 6:35 a.m. today to a business on the 100 block of East High Street in Centralia. The break-in is under investigation, according to the Centralia Police Department.

• A 34-year-old Centralia man was arrested after he allegedly attempted to sell stolen tires in a case reported about 10:10 a.m. on Wednesday associated with a location on the 1200 block of Harrison Avenue in Centralia. Matthew R. Horton Jr. was booked into the Lewis County Jail for trafficking in stolen property, according to the Centralia Police Department.

• Centralia police were called about the theft of packages from a residence on the 2200 block of Cooks Hill Road at 6:45 p.m. on Wednesday.

• Chehalis police were contacted about 12:40 p.m. on Tuesday regarding a possible scam in a case associated with a location on the 1500 block of North National Avenue.

• Chehalis police were called to the 700 block of Southwest 18th Street at about 8:50 a.m. on Tuesday for a vehicle prowl.

DRUGS

• A 36-year-old Centralia resident picked up on an outstanding warrant at the 600 block of South Tower Avenue in Centralia at about 8:30 a.m. on Wednesday was also arrested for possession of methamphetamine and possession of more than 40 grams of marijuana. Rodolfo Romo was booked into the Lewis County Jail, according to the Centralia Police Department.
