FRAUD

• Chehalis police were contacted about 8:20 p.m. yesterday in regard to a possible fraud. The case is under investigation, according to the Chehalis Police Department.

THEFT

• Centralia police were called to the 2300 block of North Pearl Street just after 8 p.m. yesterday to take a report of the theft of propane tanks and lumber from a  business.

• Centralia police called about 11 p.m. yesterday to the 900 block of South Scheuber Road where a staff member said her cell phone had been stolen by a patient, located the phone in the patient’s car, according to the Centralia Police Department. Blake D. Hansen, 28, of Centralia, was arrested and booked into the Lewis County Jail for an outstanding warrant and a case for third-degree theft is being referred for charges, according to police.

BAD BILL

• Chehalis police were called just before noon yesterday to a business at the 2100 block of North National Avenue where a counterfeit $50 bill had been passed.
