ON THE ROAD, OFF THE ROAD
• An attempted traffic stop about 1:35 a.m. yesterday in Centralia ended with an arrest 16 miles away for attempting to elude, and a Violation of the Uniform Controlled Substances Act, according to the Centralia Police Department. Kelly N. Myhre, 30, from Chehalis, was booked into the Lewis County Jail, according to police.
• A 49-year-old Centralia woman was arrested for unlawful imprisonment and eluding after she allegedly had a “physical argument” with her spouse and fled when an officer attempted to stop her yesterday. Officers called just before 5 p.m. to the 1300 block of Johnson Road booked Margaret A. Shillman into the Lewis County Jail, according to the Centralia Police Department.
ASSAULT
• Police called to the 900 block of South Scheuber Road in Centralia about an altercation about 9:20 a.m. yesterday decided to forward a case to prosecutors for third-degree assault regarding a 28-year-old Kelso man.
BURGLARY
• Centralia police were called to the 3000 block of Galvin Road about 11:20 a.m. yesterday to take a report of someone cutting a hole in a fence and stealing $6,000 worth of tools which included two welders.
BIG SHOPLIFTING
• Chehalis police were called to a retailer on the 1600 block of Northwest Louisiana Avenue about 11:45 a.m. yesterday to take a report of a theft that occurred the day before of roughly $7,000 worth of iPhones.
FAKE BILLS
• A customer left the 1600 block of Northwest Louisiana Avenue after being confronted on four counterfeit $100 bills about 9:15 a.m. yesterday, according to the Chehalis Police Department. There appeared to be two vehicles involved, one of which was a silver Dodge Dakota, according to the Chehalis Police Department.
CAR PROWL
• Multiple items were stolen from a vehicle during the night at the 2500 block of Mount Vista Road in Centralia, according to a report made to police about 11:40 a.m. yesterday.
DRUGS
• A 16-year-old boy on probation was arrested at the Lewis County Juvenile Justice Center in Chehalis for allegedly having LSD on him yesterday morning. The teen was booked into detention following the approximately 9:15 a.m. call to police, according to the Chehalis Police Department.
VANDALISM
• Chehalis police were called to the 900 block of Northwest Airport Road just before 11 a.m. yesterday where a fence had been cut.

• And, as usual, other incidents such as arrests for drugs, warrants, driving under the influence, failure to transfer vehicle title within 45 days, third-degree domestic malicious mischief; responses for alarm, dispute, hit and run, civil issue, vehicle collision, disorderly person, suspicious circumstances, misdemeanor assault and more among 140 calls for local law enforcement and / or fire-emergency medical services in the 24-hour period ending about 7 a.m. today.
