BAR FIGHT

• Centralia police were called to the 200 block of North Tower Avenue about 1:25 a.m. on Sunday where one intoxicated male slapped an unidentified male in the face for no apparent reason and the other male responded with a punch that knocked the intoxicated male to the ground. No arrests were made, according to the Centralia Police Department.

KNIFE THREAT

• Centralia police were called to the 400 block of North Tower Avenue about 6:10 p.m. on Friday after a 14-year-old girl allegedly threatened her mother with two knives. The teenager was booked into the Lewis County Juvenile Detention Center for second-degree assault, according to the Centralia Police Department.

CAR PROWL

• Police were called about 4:20 p.m. on Sunday by an individual who realized his wallet and prescription meds had been taken from his vehicle, seemingly while it had been at the park and ride lot on the 800 block of West Main Street in Chehalis.

• Chehalis police were called to the 300 block of Northwest Chehalis Avenue about 12:40 p.m. on Saturday to take a report of a vehicle prowl. Among the items taken were a credit card, according to the Chehalis Police Department.

DRUG VIOLATION

• A 32-year-old Centralia resident arrested on Sunday for alleged shoplifting at the 100 block of West High Street in Centralia just after 11 a.m. was also arrested for two outstanding warrants and possession of a drug not prescribed to him, according to the Centralia Police Department. Kelvin B. Kempf  was booked into the Lewis County Jail, according to police.

• Officers called regarding trespassing at the 300 block of North Tower Avenue just before 9 a.m. on Friday arrested a 26-year-old Chehalis man for an outstanding warrant and a search incident to his arrest led to another arrest for possession of methamphetamine. Dylon L. Favro was booked into the Lewis County Jail, according to the Centralia Police Department.

EXPOSED

• A 48-year-old man was arrested for indecent exposure after police were called to the 500 block of South Tower Avenue at 9:35 a.m. on Friday because he allegedly had dropped his pants and squatted over a flower pot. Jody L. Tobin was issued a summons into the Centralia Municipal Court and then released from the scene, according to the Centralia Police Department.

ON THE ROAD, OFF THE ROAD

• An attempted traffic stop about 2:25 a.m. on Sunday for a defective exhaust at Interstate Avenue and Parkland Street in Chehalis ended at the 800 block of Southwest 19th Street and an arrest for driving under the influence, third-degree driving with suspended license and attempt to elude, according to the Chehalis Police Department. Kenneth A. Royster, 30, of Chehalis, was  was booked into the Lewis County Jail, according to police.

• Centralia K-9 Pax tracked a suspect to his apartment after the individual allegedly crashed his truck in the North Gold curves near Ham Hill Road and fled the scene at about 9:20 p.m. on Saturday. Mercedes R. Lopez, 44, of Centralia, was arrested for driving under the influence as well as for hit and run and booked into the Lewis County Jail, according to the Centralia Police Department.
