FIBBING LANDS TWO IN JAIL

• Centralia police report they arrested two people for allegedly lying about their identities during a criminal investigation associated with a location on the 1200 block of Borthwick Street around 11:25 p.m. yesterday. Dylan A. Rice, 26, and Brandon L. Kober, 24, both from Wenatchee, were booked into the Lewis County Jail for obstructing a public servant, according to the Centralia Police Department.

• Chehalis police were called to Green Hill School about 1:45 p.m. yesterday to take a report that a 16-year-old student-inmate allegedly struck a staff member and threw a chair, one unspecified day in the past. A case is being referred to prosecutors for custodial assault, according to the Chehalis Police Department.

• Centralia police are referring a case to prosecutors for eluding a police vehicle related to a 31-year-old Mossyrock man who allegedly fled the scene of a traffic stop about 5:45 p.m. yesterday at Summa Street and Kresky Avenue in Centralia.

• Centralia police called about 3:45 p.m. yesterday to the 900 block of Johnson Road reportedly contacted a juvenile who was under the influence of alcohol. A case is being referred to prosecutors for a charge of minor in possession, according to the Centralia Police Department.
