ASSAULT
• A 22-year-old man was arrested after allegedly assaulting a nurse at Providence Centralia Hospital following an approximately 12:02 a.m. call to police from the 900 block of Scheuber Road on Saturday. Joshua A. Chum, a homeless person, was booked into the Lewis County Jail for second-degree assault, according to the Centralia Police Department.
BURGLARY
• A Dell laptop was stolen from a residence on the 2600 block of Eureka Avenue in Centralia during the afternoon, according to a report made to police about 12:45 p.m. on Thursday.
DRUGS
• A 34-year-old California man was arrested for possession of methamphetamine, identity theft, unlawful imprisonment and violation of a protection order after an approximately 10:45 p.m. call on Sunday associated with a location on the 900 block of Harrison Avenue in Centralia. Andrew P. Hoefer of Anderson, California, was booked into the Lewis County Jail, according to the Centralia Police Department.
• A 24-year-old Packwood resident was arrested at the 700 block of Harrison Avenue in Centralia about 12:10 a.m. on Saturday for possession of methamphetamine, identity theft, making a false statement and resisting arrest, according to the Centralia Police Department. Cody T. Vala was booked into the Lewis County Jail, according to police.
CAR PROWL
• Centralia police were called about 3:30 p.m. on Saturday about a vehicle prowl at the 1200 block of Belmont Avenue. Money was taken, according to the Centralia Police Department.
• Police were called just before noon on Friday about gasoline siphoned from a vehicle overnight at the 1300 block of Harrison Avenue.
VANDALISM
• A vehicle had its front passenger window smashed out at the 400 block of West Plum Street in Centralia, according to a report made to police about 11:25 p.m. on Thursday. Nothing was stolen, according to the Centralia Police Department.
MISSING PERSON
• Just before 8 p.m. on Saturday, Centralia police took a report that a 62-year-old woman named V. Mills, was missing from the Centralia area. The investigation continues, according to the Centralia Police Department.

• Centralia police began investigating a investigated a hit and run traffic collision just after 1:45 p.m. on Friday at the 100 block of South Tower Avenue. The victim driver complained of minor injuries and was transported to the hospital, according to the Centralia Police Department. The suspect vehicle was described as a black passenger car
