BREAK-IN

• Chehalis police are investigating a burglary after being called about 10 a.m. yesterday to a business on the 500 block of West Main Street. Someone had removed a small safe containing an undisclosed amount of cash and credit cards, according to the Chehalis Police Department.

• Centralia police were called about 8:10 a.m. yesterday for a burglary to a church at the 500 block of South Washington Avenue where electronics and multiple other items had been removed.

FRAUD

• Chehalis police were called about 5:30 p.m. yesterday to the 1600 block of Northwest Louisiana Avenue after a business discovered a counterfeit $100 bill had been used during a transaction.

• Chehalis police were asked about 2:15 p.m. yesterday to investigate a case of suspected identity theft.

BREAK-DOWN

• A 50-year-old woman contacted by Centralia police about 6:40 p.m. yesterday because she was walking down the middle of Harrison Avenue was apparently hallucinating and was a danger to herself so she was transported to Providence Centralia Hospital for an evaluation, according to the Centralia Police Department. A case will be forwarded to prosecutors for possession of methamphetamine, according to police.
