MOM BREAKS UP KIDS’ FIGHT WITH MACE

• A Centralia mother was arrested last night for allegedly spraying mace on her 18-year-old son who was in an altercation with his 14-year-old brother. Officers called about 9:30 p.m. to the 600 block of West Roanoke Street in Centralia say that Kristy A. Price-Alvarez had called dispatch and said nothing had taken place and told officers the same thing when they arrived, according to the Centralia Police Department. The 38-year-old woman was booked into the Lewis County Jail for fourth-degree assault and obstructing a public servant, according to police.

AGGRESSIVE SMOKER

• Centralia police were contacted by a female about noon yesterday who said that the night before while she was outside in an apartment complex smoking area, a man assaulted her as he tried to get her cigarettes from her at Johnson Road and Reynolds Avenue. She had minor injuries but didn’t seek medical treatment, according to the Centralia Police Department. The case is still under investigation, police indicated this morning.

ASSAULT AT GREEN HILL

• Chehalis police were called just after 10 a.m. yesterday to Green Hill School at the 300 block of Southwest 11th Street to take a report of a second-degree assault. Officers this morning were still investigating, according to the Chehalis Police Department.

AUTO THEFT

• Chehalis police were called to the 300 block of Southwest Third Street just before 11 p.m. yesterday where a gray 1993 Honda Accord had been stolen. The car was last seen about 4 p.m., according to the Chehalis Police Department.

FUEL THEFT

• Police were called to the 500 block of North Pearl Street in Centralia about 3:25 p.m. yesterday to take a report of gas stolen from a parked company truck.

LEAVING UNWANTED TRASH

• Police called to the 1200 block of Harrison Avenue about 8:15 a.m. yesterday are investigating the “theft of services” because a business found its dumpster had been filled by somebody else’s garbage.

DRUGS

• Centralia police called about noon yesterday to the 800 block of Eshom Road arrested a 17-year-old student for possession of methamphetamine.
