BURGLARY

• Someone entered through an unlocked bedroom window of a residence at the 100 block of Northview Drive in Chehalis yesterday and stole $3,000 cash, jewelry and other currency, according to the Lewis County Sheriff’s Office. The break-in occurred between 8:40 a.m. and 10:20 p.m., according to the sheriff’s office.

THEFT

• A deputy was called yesterday evening about a 1975 Peer tank trailer missing from an unfenced staging area of a business at the 200 block of Ritchie Lane south of Chehalis. The trailer, valued at $1,000, was last seen there on April 9, according to the Lewis County Sheriff’s Office.

• Cash was reported stolen from a business at the 1100 block of North Pearl Street in Centralia at 3:30 p.m. yesterday. The suspects are a male and a female, according to the Centralia Police Department.

• Luggage was stolen from the lobby of an apartment complex at the 300 block of West Pine Street in Centralia, according to a report made to police at 11:30 a.m. yesterday.

DRUGS

• Centralia police called at 9:40 p.m. yesterday to the 900 block of South Scheuber Road are referring a case to prosecutors for possession of heroin regarding a 19-year-old Centralia man who allegedly brought drugs into a health care facility.

• An officer was called just before 11 a.m. yesterday to the 300 block of Southwest 16th Street where an 18-year-old student allegedly was found in possession of marijuana. She was cited and then released, according to the Chehalis Police Department.
