BURGLARY CHEHALIS
• A deputy called about noon yesterday to the 3300 block of Jackson Highway in Chehalis took a report of a burglary to an outbuilding that occurred sometime during the previous two weeks. Among the missing property is a Stihl backpack blower, a Stihl leaf blower, a Stihl chainsaw, an orange case containing a 300-foot long survey tape and five gas cans with approximately 25 gallons of fuel, according to the Lewis County Sheriff’s Office. The loss is estimated at $935, according to the sheriff’s office.
AUTO THEFT
• A stolen vehicle was recovered at the 1500 block of Delaware Avenue in Centralia about 10:10 .m. yesterday and returned to its owner.
VEHICLE PROWL
• Police were called about 11:40 a.m. yesterday to the 100 block of Southwest Interstate Avenue where an individual discovered that during the night someone had broken into their car, breaking a window. It was not immediately apparent if anything was missing, according to the Chehalis Police Department.
IMPAIRED BEHIND THE WHEEL
• Kevin C. Keeslar, 46, of Yelm was arrested and booked into the Lewis County Jail for being in physical control of a vehicle while driving under the influence when he was contacted by officers about 2 a.m. today behind the wheel of a running vehicle while under the influence of intoxicants. It happened at the 1800 block of Cooks Hill Road in Centralia, according to the Centralia Police Department.
