AUTO THEFT
• Centralia police reported a green 1993 Honda Accord was stolen yesterday but later recovered, in a case associated with a location on the 2800 block of Russell Road.
• Chehalis police were called about 4 p.m. yesterday to the 1500 block of North National Avenue where they learned a maroon-colored 1999 Honda Accord was missing. Its owner had loaned it to a relative, but when it was returned, its keys were left inside, according to the Chehalis Police Department.
FRAUD
• Chehalis police were contacted yesterday by an individual who reported they discovered purchases were made on their credit card in Arizona totaling $532, and suspected their account was compromised when recently in Las Vegas, according to the Chehalis Police Department.
GRAB AND GO
• A deputy was called yesterday evening after an individual swimming near the Adna trestle saw three males steal the iPhone belonging to his mother, and saw them take off in a dark blue Honda-type car, according to the Lewis County Sheriff’s Office. The loss is $775, according to the sheriff’s office.
CAR PROWL
• Police were called about 7:10 p.m. yesterday regarding a vehicle prowl on the 400 block of East Chestnut Street in Centralia. Five dollars in change was stolen, according to the Centralia Police Department.
• A phone charger and two CD’s were stolen in a vehicle prowl at the 600 block of South Diamond Street in Centralia, according to a report made to police just after 4 p.m. yesterday.
• Police were called about 11:30 a.m. yesterday for a vehicle prowl at the 1700 block of South Gold Street in Centralia. An interlock device was taken, according to the Centralia Police Department.
VANDALISM
• A 59-year-old Chehalis area man reported that sometime between 1 a.m. and 7 a.m. yesterday, somebody broke seven windows out of two of his vehicles at the 200 block of U.S. Highway 12, according to the Lewis County Sheriff’s Office.
