RESIDENTIAL BURGLARY WINLOCK

• A deputy was called about 6 p.m. on Saturday to a residential burglary on the 700 block of Nevil Road in Winlock in which an estimated $7,000 worth of valuables were stolen. Among the missing items are a 12-gauge shotgun, two chainsaws, two flat screen televisions, two electric winches, a video camera, a laptop computer and a torch kit, according to the Lewis County Sheriff’s Office.

BREAK-IN ETHEL

• Deputies were called about 4:20 a.m. yesterday when the door was discovered open and its lock damaged at the Ethel Market on the 1400 block of U.S. Highway 12. Nothing at first appeared to be missing but the owner subsequently discovered several high-end fishing rods were gone, according to the Lewis County Sheriff’s Office.

CAR PROWL

• Chehalis police were called at 11 a.m. yesterday about a vehicle prowl at the 300 block of Northwest Georgia Avenue.

VANDALISM

• Chehalis police were called at 4:30 p.m. on Saturday regarding a tire slashed on a vehicle at Northeast Washington Avenue near Main Street.
