OFF THE ROAD
• A 21-year-old Mossyrock resident was injured in an overnight single-vehicle wreck on U.S. Highway 12 near Ethel. Troopers called at 1:07 a.m. to milepost 71 report Danielle A. Young was traveling eastbound when her car left the roadway to the right, struck a dirt embankment and then rolled, coming to rest among some trees. Young was transported to Providence Centralia Hospital, according to the Washington State Patrol. She had been wearing a seat belt, according to the state patrol. She was to be cited for driving under the influence. Her 2007 Mazda 3 was described as totaled.
• A 36-year-old Glenoma woman was also cited for driving under the influence after she wrecked her Ford Bronco this morning on U.S. Highway 12 about two miles west of Randle. Troopers called at 10:10 a.m. found Lashawna J. Wolf was westbound when she drifted toward the shoulder, overcorrected and rolled, landing in the ditch. Wolf was injured and taken to Morton General Hospital, according to the Washington State Patrol. Her vehicle was totaled. She too had been wearing a seat belt, according to the state patrol. Wolf was also arrested for possession of a controlled substance, the investigating trooper reports.
DRUGS
• A 27-year-old Centralia resident was arrested overnight for trafficking stolen property and possession of methamphetamine. Police made contact with Stephanie Case at the 600 block of Harrison Avenue about 12:50 a.m. and then booked her into the Lewis County Jail, according to the Centralia Police Department.
THEFT
• Centralia police were called about 6:15 a.m. today about a power saw and flashlight stolen from a trailer at the 1700 block of West Reynolds Avenue. Someone cut the lock to get in, according to the Centralia Police Department.
SUSPICIOUS CIRCUMSTANCES
• Centralia police responded about 9:45 a.m. yesterday to the 200 block of North Pearl Street where a male was seen trying to open the drive-up window at a bank. No arrest was made, according to the Centralia Police Department.
