A fire broke out at a Centralia wood mill this morning, extending through the roof before it was extinguished.
Crews called at 5:30 a.m. to to the 3300 block of Galvin Road, just west of Harrison Avenue, found the building’s sprinklers had activated, keeping it under control, according to Riverside Fire Authority.

It happened at Northwest Hardwoods. Nobody was injured.
The cause is under investigation. No estimate of the dollar amount of the damage is yet available, Ternan indicated.
