CHEHALIS – KOMOnews.com reports the Chehalis funeral home involved in last autumn’s mixup of two bodies has been exonerated, as state investigators concluded the mistake occurred at a Kelso funeral home.
When the family of Jerry Moon opened the casket to say their final goodbyes, and found a stranger inside on Oct. 21, it was because Dahl-McVicker Funeral Home had sent Brown Mortuary Service in Chehalis the wrong body, according to KOMOnews.com.
