Primary election preliminary results: What does longtime Lewis County Auditor Gary Zandell say?

Q: What do these numbers tell you?

A: “It’s so unofficial,” Zandell said.

The county has more than 42,000 registered voters and these numbers reflect about 36.6 percent of registered voter’s votes.

There are many more ballots to be counted.

Zandell predicts a final turnout for this primary to be between 38 percent and 40 percent.
