THREATS WITH MACHETE
• Deputies were called at 11:30 p.m. yesterday to a Randle residence where a woman said her live-in boyfriend was swinging a large machete around and threatening to kill her. The 50-year-old female had locked herself in a bathroom and said her 45-year-old boyfriend was in a cabin behind their house with the machete and had been drinking, according to the Lewis County Sheriff’s Office. Deputies arrived just before midnight and took Virgil W. Bohall Sr. into custody without incident, Chief Civil Deputy Stacy Brown said. Deputies were told that over the previous two days Bohall had kicked, slapped, pushed and scratched her, Brown said. Bohall was booked into the Lewis County Jail for felony harassment, according to Brown.
